Trade question

Straight trade, no money involved. Two discontinued models to two almost brand new watches. Would You do it?

Hulk (2013) and Milgauss GV (2009) to NIB Sub Starbucks and No-date Sub (124060).

Hulk and Milgauss have not been serviced but not used very much. Hulk has been safe queen most of time.

I would say no to both.
You have probably the best modern sub of all time and the milgauss is great as a non diver watch. Probably the black dial version of the GV, so you have a green dial and black dial options.

The starbucks is great too and the no-date is - as it as always been - boring.

If you feel like you need a change then do it otherwise stay with your two existing models.

You'll be saving £2k on servicing. As to the watches I think Starbucks will get more wrist time and the Milgauss is a wash with the Sub no date.

The ideal pair would be the Hulk and the newer Submariner (124060). That’s what I would shoot for.

I am a huge Sub guy and the Milgaus doesn’t do it for me. I would say go for it.

100% I'd do it. I prefer the 2 newer models, so it's an easy choice for me.

My question is, what will you do if you make the trade? Not "use them much" either?
Just a new set of safe queens?

I would do the trade as I would wear the two watches you are trading for. I would probably never wear a Milgaus if I had other options. The Hulk is a desired watch but for me would be difficult to wear other than with shorts and a t-shirt.

I had the Starbucks and 126610LN. Too redundant and I think you will find that with the no date as well.

The Starbucks is the best watch out of the 4 you mentioned. Hulk would be second. I think in 20 years you will regret getting rid of the hulk from a collectors standpoint.

I have a 126610LV and would rather have the 116610LV, to be honest.

I wasn’t allocated one in time before the new ref came out.

Id keep what you have.

You would save service costs. But I would keep the current ones.

If you're moving to a Sub and a Sub-date pair, then you'd better love Subs.

But you're getting rid of a Hulk to do it?

I think the Hulk is naff, 126610 LV is much better so I’d do that trade. Not sure I’d want a Starbucks or whatever it’s called and a 124060 though - too similar.
