There are many restaurants in Europe that incorporate the name "Entrecote" in it.

Unfortunately we can't get an Entrecote' here in the US, (at least not in Florida) as they cut the meat differently here.

The closest cut to an Entrecote' would be the Ribeye steak which of course is good but not the same thing.

Well guys with things back to normal now, here a few meals from this Memorial day weekend.

Friday night I took a few people to "Willie Nelson's Texas Roadhouse" for dinner. Not a bad place to try, ok steaks, nothing great, however, be careful, every now and then someone on the restaurant staff staff grabs your arm during a "Texas Line Dance " break in front of everybody. I'm glad no one had a camera during this fiasco! I never would have lived it down!
Sunday afternoon I was taking a catnap when I thought I heard large machinary coming through the house, as it turns out, I been a little under the weather lately and the neighbors have been taking care of the outside of my house with the lawn and stuff. Now that I'm back to normal, they are still cutting the grass so I thought it was time for a real Memorial Day cookout. I picked up 16 2 lb. lobsters, 2 for each person with 2 lbs. of butter. It don't get much better!

Even though I go this pizza from Costco... I added just a few yummy things to it.... Bacon, Pepperoni, Sausage on two pizzas, and added sauteed onions and some black olives to another.
Some inexpensive Grenache Blend wine and I am all set!

My wife cooks gourmet as a hobby 3 or 4 times each week, mostly South American. Tonight however was a sub and left over pizza and chicken from the pool party my daughter had with a few of her friends.
