My bad, but TRF only has 10 max for polls. I did have travel and a few others, but was limited.

Congrats on travel .

Kris Krisofferson is older, richer, and just a tad more successful than me. But I appreciate the kind words.

Mountain biking, spinning, and target sports. I try to do all three every week when the weather is good.

The signature quote on your profile...I saw it or something similar etched into a wood plaque on a ski lodge bar in New Hampshire. I think it's called Black Mountain.

I love that saying. I used to laugh about it and now it's my excuse for my aches and pains.

Golfing, traveling, watching interesting documentaries.

After I got rid of my sports car, I had a period where I thought about buying a boat but decided against it. Then I thought about getting my pilots license and getting a Cessna 172 to fly around. Decided against that because of the upkeep costs.

Then I had a friend tell me “If it flies, floats, or fornicates, it’s cheaper to rent. Took that advice to heart haha!

I like to learn new things. It's probably not a hobby, but more of a lifestyle. Figuring out what I want to do and how to make money is easy.

Since mobility is limited, I just started getting into RC cars, rock crawling. Slow, controlled precision, sort of scale looking little trucks. I'm not sure how far I'll go with the hobby but it's easy access, small-ish space requirements and relatively low initial buy-in is attractive. Then, as with all worthwhile hobbies, tools and equipment and work area grow and grow and overtake all reason. Cant wait.

This guy does a good job of it and he has many videos with different vehicles he's built and modified:

I didn't see this until now. If the poll is still open, I guess I don't see how to vote.

I play lots of tennis, like to run and workout, read books, invest, enjoy music (Grateful Dead is a favorite for the past, uh, 40 years), have dinner with friends, walk the beach, travel a bit, oh and I like fun cars.

Edit: Oh, I see now the poll is closed.

Right now, I really have few hobbies. I guess eating and working out. I’m on a hiatus from cigars and gave up golf due to my back. Dunno…… what cool fun thing could I do that doesn’t require a fortune every year? I think my life is so consumed by my work, wife, and kiddos I havent really thought about much else…

Been doing Jiu Jitsu since late 90’s and still roll 2-3 times a week. Also love working out cross fit style. So watches, BJJ and training my primary hobbies.

This year for me and my wife, it's been fostering abandoned dogs, which can be frustrating and hard work, but very rewarding. It's also been a way to help get through losing our beloved 13-yr-old Jack Russell terrier to sudden illness last spring.

This 2-yr-old brother and sister were pretty messed up when they came to us from the shelter six weeks ago but they're doing well now.

Thanks my friend. They were abandoned two years after adoption by a very wealthy family with three kids and three domestic staff, two of whom brought them to us via the shelter as a last-minute arrangement. I swear they thought we kidnapped them as they barked at us both all night and we were ready to send them back the next day. Anyhow, we didn't and although as littermates they are very tightly bonded with the issues that comes with, we've all four of us made it through the tunnel and are getting along great, with long walks 2 or 3 times a day, and they are finally eating well (the weirdest thing is that from day one, they came back to leash immediately when called or whistled).

This is them when they were adopted a couple of years ago, from the same shelter they were returned to.
