The procedure of aligning to rehaut

There is no literature that suggests that the crown on the rehaut should align with 12 on the dial. The position of the crown on the rehaut is dictated by the format of the engraved serial number and there's very little you can do about it.

Re-aligning the insert is an easy fix, take to RSC and have them sort it out.
