I have both - a Sky Dweller and a Planet Ocean GMT. Ignoring the additional complexity of the Sky Dweller, I would say they're equally good watches. Both iconic brands and extremely well made. Omega does not quite have the cachet of a Rolex - but I think watch lovers would rate Omega as highly. My Omega probably has a more beautiful mechanism than the Rolex - it's very well finished.
