its hard to tell to be honest - from the picture the lume looks fine. I just took delivery of a 2011 SuperOcean A13340 and that glows nicely when you take it from light to dark but no way I can use it to tell the time after a few hours in the dark. It is just the nature of the chemical - it WILL deteriorate over time regrettably
