Personally I don't buy that.
Rolex specifically advertised custom-branded dials as good employee awards. The ads say "YOUR CORPORATE LOGOTYPE CAN BE INSERTED" and I doubt they were just leaving all of that up to import agents. Plus, most Rolex-issued logo dials lack the typical chronometer/precision text at the bottom of the dial, and I doubt there just happens to be a huge number of dials that perfectly paint over that. When I see logo dials with text at the bottom I'm suspicious that the logo is aftermarket, but I do believe a few OEM ones are like that.
