Because too many people decide based on what everyone else thinks rather than what they personally like... "TT looks old", "TT makes me look not rich enough to afford full gold", "TT looks like I couldn't get a SS allocation."
The minute you stop giving a damn about what other people think, you will have a lot more freedom and clarity on your watch collecting journey. And as much as I love TRF, this place does not help anyone achieve watch collecting nirvana. We're all opinionated enablers of group think who make these things seem more important than they are.
