Perfectly stated. The 911 is timeless in its appearance, and though it has evolved over the many years, you can still see the original design in its lineage of current offerings which I find impressive. Very few cars can claim the same, perhaps Volvo because "they are boxy but they are good", but if you look at the evolution of the Corvette there are significant body changes through the years.
