Not a Rolex, but one of my "other watches" from the same time period. This was my grandfather's 1936 21 jewel Elgin open face Grade 498. I sent it to Rik Dietel for cleaning and service before giving it to my eldest son last summer. I had to search and buy a lower grade parts donor watch because it would not regulate. The new balance wheel got it on the money!
