Yes, that’s correct. At the time I sold it, my specific reference had consistent asking prices on chrono24 of about $9,000. European Watch Company originally agreed to $6,000, but upon learning the movement required complete replacement offered me $4,000. I was able to negotiate their offer up to $5,000 and accepted. Mine was a blue dial, so that’s why values were a bit higher than normal.
