I have found with the Rolexes I have had ranging from superluminova, chromalite and the updated chromalite that they last all night, ie at least 8 hours. For me, each version has also been an improvement.
However they are never really bright apart from when initially subjected to a bright light. I think that’s where the complaints re lume come from.
For me, longevity is far more important than the initial wow factor.
