I've shipped 2 'Registered' items via the USPS in the last 2 months. All used regular 2" wide 3m clear tape to seal the package, (not cover the entire box). The package was stamped on all sides and the stamps were clearly visible. "Special paper tape" is not required. Rolex has their own requirements when shipping an item to a RSC.
