Icon5 1162xx DJ with Day-date movement/dial? Possible?

I've recently inherited a beautiful day-date 36. Roman champagne dial, turned bezel, president bracelet full 18k/yg.. However upon closer inspection. I realized that the case has a datejust reference number (116264) Then to add further confusion, all the reference charts state that this number breaks down as a datejust 36 (1162) rotating/turn-o-graph bezel (6) ss/wg (4).. the serial numbers on the bezel and case match.. so they're original to each other at least.. could this be a manufacturer error? Or maybe I'm just finding multiple charts with incorrect references?
The piece is beautiful with some minor repairable damage. But the codes not adding up to what it actually is really bugs me. I've studied this piece for hours thinking well maybe it's a fake? But it has all the right signs of a original aside from inaccurate reference number. Can a day-date 36 movement fit inside a dj 36 case? Then what about the bezal and metal discrepancy? It's clearly yellow gold don't know what to think here. Has Anyone out there seen this before? The date codes on the bracelet and serial numbers match to. Help me please
