I just bought a pristine Seamaster 2254.50 from a Japanese watch dealer for cheaper than I've seen the most beat up examples for sale here in the states. And I lucked out and didn't have to pay any customs for some reason either. I don't try to time the markets when it comes to investing so I can't offer any advice there but it does seem like a good opportunity to buy goods from Japan
