The new policy makes no sense regarding water resistance. All water resistant watches are now rated 30m on Patek website. I don't follow any of the posts being made about 'real' water resistance. The bottom line is that Patek is officially certifying that for example my 5370P is now as capable as my Nautilus of being submerged - both are now rated to a 'real' 30m. I would be interested to understand the likelihood of a successful warranty claim with Patek after swimming in my 5370 if they also say swimming with an identically rated Nautilus is ok.
