Which myths exactly? I believe in the laws of nature. Jumping from a 5m or a 10m tower with a 30m rated watch doesn't leave enough safety margin for my liking (also considering that the watch may not perform 100% to specs), see my previous posts. Which is why I wouldn't jump from a tower unless a watch is rated at 100m or above. Jumping from the edge of a pool or a 1m board will not get you into trouble with any water resistant watch.
