My sentiment is the opposite of this. BPs don't seem to be too hard to come by & those in like-new condition are well under MSRP on cursory research. I'd rather hold onto a Rolex & pay for a BP later, rather than sell a Rolex to fund a BP. I'd been briefly looking at the 38mm Bathyscaphe, but quickly got over that itch.
