Most people in Florida are not actually natively from Florida. Something like 67% or so are not from Florida.
So if native Floridians "closed the borders" they would actually live in a swamp with way more alligators :)
I joke mostly as we all do it. I recently moved to a different state and after 2.5 years; I don't want anyone else moving here haha.
