If as it looks you need to ship your watch to get it looked at sending it to one of the independents that get mentioned on the forum would be a smart idea. Even though that probably means sending it interstate and just that bit further than you probably wanted to send it. But the end results will make it worthwhile.
The other option not discussed is you could also sell it as is
