I’d stick with the Tudor Connection and get a Pelagos 39 or BB58. Also, as others have said, an independent should definitely be able to service your Dad’s watch. You should be able to get an original Tudor bracelet for it from an AD or there are plenty of reasonably priced replica bracelets out there.
