The problem with that is every owner is different in terms of wrist size/shape/wearing preferences/tolerances, etc...the list goes on and on.
Add into the mix sizing a DD can be problematic, well, it's an even more complex issue. (Although not impossible- there are 1 1/4 links available to help, but as you can imagine, the platinum version of those are 'yikes' money.)
Since you tried one on and got a good favorable first impression, I would think you're okay with taking the plunge, but man, I would hate to let that WG DD go...it's such a great watch on so many levels. If there was a way to just add the platty, that would be the way ahead for me. My two cents.
