I bought a Vintage Waterman ballpoint recently on eBay. It didn't have the cartridge and definitely didn't use the modern one... I contacted the USA Parker/Waterman service center and sent pics of the pen.
They responded and said it was one of two - they mailed me a sample of each! Now I know what to order in the future. :)
That's great customer service.
I'd say Waterman is the Seiko of nice pens. Agree?
