John I am happy to hear your Omas is loosening up. My MB is a fine nib and can be a bit erratic so I have been writing on some brown paper bags and it really has helped.
Hi Phillip. I think it is loosening up, and I'm probably doing a better job of finding the sweet spot also. I think you have a little less margin for error with a true fine point nib, but there's times where the Omas is glassy smooth, and other times when it's not so much. I think it's a little finicky with regards to ink and paper.

But it is fun to write with!
