I am in the same boat as well. In one hand I want the classic look of the sub. But then again I am in the military and the GMT function may suit me well on my travels.

Also my taste is kinda flashy but not too flashy. So the ceramic GMT with shiny bezel has that kinda trick to it. Although the new sub has a ceramic bezel I cant afford a new watch (will purchase a second hand watch)

But then in the end I am going to an AD and going to try them on and see which one looks/feels best and who knows a different Rolex may be on my wrist than the ones I intend because I intend to try all the Rolexes in my price range on.
