Exactly. It doesn't get too much love on TRF or other watch forums
( in comparison to the Subs and GMTs and DJs). But IMO, it is THE watch enthusiasts' Rolex for the reasons you mention. It certainly isn't a "look at me I'm wearing a Rolex" Rolex... yet has the history, beauty, and simplicity that makes it special.
