My first post!
I'm an Omega guy (blue dial Aqua Terra and Speedmaster Professional), and looking to add a GMT. I never considered Rolex before (a bit too expensive, I thought), and ignorant of the brand details, but after stumbling upon the new SS GMT-II I got interested.
I'm big on history (hence the Speedy Pro) and as a traveler I appreciate the story of the GMT and PanAm pilots. That's worth a lot, but $3K worth over the Omega...I'm not sure...
So, it's the Seamaster GMT vs. the GMT-Master II. There is a chance I may add a Rolex to my Omegas...looking to you all to help guide me along...
Until then, it is truly nice to see an adult discussion of Omega and Rolex without resorting to bloodshed. Nice compliments on Omega from Rolex fans. Well done, guys. Think I'll hang around...
