I think the decision to hold off on the Rolex is a good one. It will mean more to you if you get as a gift for accomplishing a difficult task.
As for coveting the TAG, what can I say. If you want it that badly and
IF you can afford it, then feel free to go for it. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES SPEND HARD EARNED MONEY ON SOMETHING YOU CANNOT REALLY AFFORD. That, my friend, is the golden rule. Never forget it.
