And, having compared the Sub to what Omega and Breitling have to offer, I found myself continually coming back to reconsider the Rolex Submariner as my preferred and final choice. In my research, I have discovered that although Breitling offers an attractive TT pilots bracelet, the gold in the 18KT bracelet links that are installed in a TT Breitling bracelet are merely a heavy plating upon SS links. Therefore, over time, the gold could become eroded, worn and, therefore, polished off the SS links. In comparison, the gold links in a Rolex TT bracelet are not plated, and are solid and designed with a beautiful precise machine finish that is simply stunning.
