Now, having said that, $1000 for a monitor stand is insane and I would never spend that kind of coin. Even $500 would be ridiculous. At $5000, the new pro monitor or whatever it's called should come with the stand included.

The problem with fans is that they become blind to what's happening outside the bubble. I was a Mac and Google fan for the last 10-12 years. Prior to that I was PC and Microsoft all the way. Having not looked much at either until a new job forced me to, I was like, OMG what has been going on here. The Surface Pro is freaking brilliant in form and function. Build quality is supurb and Microsoft 365.... Like wooooo. Where did this come from?
