This is the main concern on fake clasps.
Also if the stamping is not sharp or missing corners it also is fake most of the times.
Also take in consideration of counting the fine adjustments holes in the clasp
The clasp has 7 holes for micro adjustments. Fake ones often have 6 or less (Gaby)
