Depending on service history, the 18038/3055 movement can potentially have a slow day change in comparison to the 18238/3155 movement.
An adjustment for a slow 18038 day change requires removing the dial, so it’s labor intensive.
I’d go with the 18238 on that alone for the extra 2k.
I feel wearability is pretty much the same between the two.
