My pick would be the GMT, but I would wait until the new models are unleashed in April, you might be surprised. In the meantime, O.K. get the Explorer, it will keep you happy, but if you need a date then the Datejust is the way to go.

The Datejust runs the same 3135 movement as the Sub-date, SD and YM (40 mm).
