The frame in the 5960P black dial is not as noticeable as the 5960/1A version, but if you compare it to the other 5960P variants, you'll see that in the blue version, it's like the 5205 where there is no frame at all around the month and day apertures. But in the 5960P black dial, you'll see a thin frame around the day and month apertures.

It's very subtle and in the two pics below you can see the difference. Not a big deal to some but it's a detail that I much appreciate in the black dial.
