Don't feel guilty and don't show off
But occasionally if I walk by a street sleeper homeless person I've thought of giving him my watch or at least a few notes. I've run over this scenario in my head a few times and realised no matter what you give them you can't control the outcome.
Compassion More than anything, if you allow yourself to feel guilt it will tear you up. Work hard and just be a nice person.
