Great comments here. I am a recent convert after 20 years of vintage/modern Rolex/Tudor. They are apples and pears, but they both go into a fruit salad! (Not a great analogy). Finding the right Panerai is the key. It's always going to be big, but if it fits, well it just fits. Mine is a 44mm manual Luminor base. They all tell the time, but how they tell it is the difference. Love changing between them.
