Ever Wonder How to Fill That Vintage Pen You Just Bought

I think there is a certain point when you get the pens you want and you think you are done. Then you realize that the rollerball does not work as well as a ballpoint would at work.

Then you find out about fountain pens and it opens a whole new world! It seems like each fountain pen has its own feel and vintage has its own story.

You follow your wife around antique stores and estate sales and she tells you they have fountain pens in the corner. Suddenly, awake again, you wonder to the corner.

I am not a collector. Some pens talk to me and I collect them. I do not spend a lot of money on them and research them when I get home. My problem then is how to fill them. Some are obvious, others, not so.

I came across this article, “Library of Vintage Pen and Pencil User Guides” at PenHero.com. The User Guides are broken down by pen, model, and year. It is a great resource.

Enjoy!
