I sort of get it but think it might take some soak time. I used to hate it but over time as I accumulated other watches I found one day I suddenly “got it.” Bought one and have loved it ever since. None of my other collection gets any wrist time. I also think post-Covid with WFH, more casual lifestyle and sadly current security issues, wearing something that’s “so ubiquitous” and easy is sort of a relief which enhances the joy - for me at least.
