Separately - I find both the Platona and SS DB super blingy and easy to recognize - and if that's your vibe, then keep them. Otherwise, if it's your first black ceramic from AP, and you don't have other "understated" pieces, the 15416CE is a better choice.

I agree with this. It's understated for ones who aren't in the know and freaking amazing for the ones that know what it is.
