Of course you can offer and give the sales associate or manager $5000 as a tip/bribe. It's not illegal, but it reaks of desperation
ADs that sell Rolex also sell Tudo... and Tudor makes great models for $5000 or less. You're better off buying another watch for $5000 to build up customer relations, adding to your watch collection, giving you something you can enjoy, while saving your dignity
Or... just be patient and wait it out... or buy grey
