You feel wrong, especially if you live in Switzerland ... where there have been no price increase from 2012/06 to 2020/01.
This year the only increase for Rolex watches in Switzerland was due to a VAT increase on January,1 from 7.7% to 8.1% . And even with this VAT increase , Rolex maintained its prices for most watches , all SS models in our case (except SS SkyDweller), and declined new VAT only on PM models.
Maintaining same prices when VAT increase can be seen as a price decrease ...
