Facial recognition software is often used by law enforcement to identify suspects in crimes, when they have the suspect caught on video, as in this case being discussed. There are so many cameras that catch citizens’ images, when they are totally unaware. Though FRS cannot be used as evidence in court, it’s a very useful investigative tool, when trying to identify a possible suspect, in a crime, such as robbery.
