I guess I PARTIALLY agree with both points. Some new Rolexes (Milgauss, GMT IIC) I like, others I don't (WG Sub, RG Daytona, CLOWNMASTER II). It'll just make it easier for me to choose a nice Rolex!
I went through a similar phase with BMW's designs. I liked pretty much every pre-Bangle BMW. Now, I just ignore the 5 and 7 series and concentrate on the 3!
