Untouched Blue Joining The Stable

Pull My Trigger On This 1603 From Germany While I Was Happily Hunting For My 1016 In Japan For Holiday

Thanks To My Good Buddy Who Direct Me And The Other Friend Who Helped Out With Wire Transfer:)

It’s More Than Hard To Get A Mint Matte Blue Pie Pan Dial Datejust Or Daydate Nowdays.

I Tried Many Shops In Japan But No Luck..

Some Pictures When I Just Got The Watch…

Follow By A Naked Dial Picture..

Look, How Clean Is it:)

And Then I Realise That I Need To Truedome It As I Always Prefer Dome Crystal…

Lastly A Picture Of After & Before Truedome Together With My 1601

Thank You For Watching And Hagwe :)

Beauty. Not easy to find with no degradation around the step.

The blue dial DJ’s are top of the pile imo. I miss my blue dial 16030.

That dial is probably worth as much as the watch. The blue pigment was notorious for reacting with the tritium and degrading heavily.

Untouched Blue Joining The Stable

That is beautiful, the case is perfect. Datejust cases are a bit of a hang up for me, there is so little material - if it’s over polished it just ruins the watch to me. When the lugs get pointed like fangs.

My wife wants to go to Japan soon, I really want to check out the watch stores.
