State of the collection and advice on a trade?

All,

Been reasonably happy with the current collection - the YM from 2017 being my favorite - love the bit of bling!

Thinking about a possible trade. My trusty datejust has has slept in it's box for 2 years after a service and I simply don't wear it anymore. The Explorer 2 has also seen little wrist time over the last year or so.

Been thinking about trading the Exp & DJ for either a DJ41, smooth bezel, blue dial, oyster bracelet or a Milgauss z Blue. The power reserve and date appeal on the DJ but can't make up for that lovely blue dial & lightning bolt!

What do you guys think - trade or not - if so, DJ or MG?

Cheers

Chrissieboy

I wouldn’t part with the Exp II but I’m biased...

I'd go for the dj41, but if there's a way you could keep that exp 2 I would! Good luck!

Cheers.

I think I've enjoyed my time with the DJ & Exp, had my fun but I'd rather have something that I'm going to wear than have a couple of pieces sitting in a box.

Going to try to escape the office tomorrow morning and see if I can visit the local AD and try a 41 & MG. Got really small wrists so it will be interesting to see how both may fit.

I'd sell that Exp 2, DJ, and Tudor and add a little cash and you can get both DJ40 and Milgauss.

That's the most unusual color dial on a DJ I've seen....kind of a pale yellow.

Cheers, I know what you mean about the DJ, it seems to have 'patina'd' over time. I'm sure it was white in 1991 :)

Go for the DJ, but go rhodium dial, the blue on the YM is very similar.

You need some color in your mix ...

I would sell the Tudor and the DJ. The exp gives you a gmt and white watch, you still have 2 black and one chrono and the YM. As mentioned, maybe go for the rhodium for variety....

I'd move the Explorer, DJ, & Tudor and look at adding some funds for a Sky-Dweller.

Or just the DJ & Tudor for the Milgauss, if you're looking for one of those.

Flip the two you don't wear, I would wait for something that really sings to you before adding another, you just got the YM. I will say your collection is begging for some color.
