16610 bracelet.
Hi,
I’ve recently bought a 2002 Submariner date. It is a well worn watch and had a pretty badly scratched/worn bracelet. I read that CapeCod is good to remove scratches, unfortunately I didn’t realise that it would make the bracelet shiny and take away the brushed finish. Is there anything I can do myself that will bring the bracelet back to how it should look? Or will I need to send it away? Thanks |

Go and pick up a few 3M scotchbrite pads and hand brush the bracelet (removed from the watch of course).
Make sure to secure the bracelet against a workbench and make consistent, light horizontal passes along the length of the bracelet. Go check out YouTube for reference. Done it many times, myself. Works like a charm. Good luck
