Absolutely, the Daytona wears lower and more sleek than the GMT by design. The case back is also wider which allows the Daytona to feel more planted and more comfortable distributing its weight over a larger surface area. It’s the most comfortable professional model Rolex makes.

I agree about the Daytona being the most comfortable professional model. I would say my modern 36mm DJ on jubilee from the classic line is noticeably more comfortable than the Daytona though. Of course, some of this will depend on individual wrist shape and proper fitting. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

BTW, they had a 126500 black dial on display last week at the WOS Rolex Boutique at the Wynn Las Vegas. I was able to try it on back to back with my 116500 I was wearing as well as sizing them up side by side in the tray.
Anyone claiming it’s bigger than the previous generation is daydreaming, aside from a few minute details they are so similar that no one over 5 feet away would know the difference. Nothing about the new one makes me willing to jump through hoops to “upgrade.” |

You guys hit it out of the park when it comes to answering questions.
Thank you! Now does anyone know an AD where I can get a 126500LN inside of this decade, maybe without being laughed at? It seems they have quite a (not sure of the word I would put in here to avoid offending anyone) following. |

Interesting... I just purchased a GMT 126710 BLNR a couple of weeks ago and felt it was just too small. I traded it in for a Daytona 116500LN and the Daytona just seems to be that that much extra bigger to make a difference. The Daytona IMO, just wears so much better. I think the dial on the GMT is just sunk a little deeper in the case and makes it look top heavy and smaller. Maybe it is the rotating bezel on the GMT that gives this impression. The Daytona wears flatter on the wrist. To me it's perfect. That's just my crazy opinion.

I find my Daytona looks smaller than my BLRO. Different perceptions.

They’ve always been smaller - so, yes.

Jb and Mystro said it correctly. But still cannot go wrong with either.

I have the 116520 Daytona and for me, it wears so comfortably vs the 40mm Sun and GMT. Up there in terms of comfort together with the 36mm OP
