How often do you update Malwarebytes....

When I go there it always tells me that I'm 10, 20 or 30 days out of date.

How often do I have to update?

I run a scan almost every day and I update whenever I get the notice. I'm usually no more than 4 or 5 days out. Since its the free version it is the only way to get the latest information. Good luck. Tim

If you want day zero protection (that is, avoid ever getting newly hatched malware code), then make it part of your start-up routine.

For you to be 10, 20, 30 days out-of-date then you have not logged into the update page for 10, 20, 30 days...

That is correct.

In the beginning I logged in every day but since it never finds anything I'm slipping.

Nothing that a Vodka/Cranberry won't cure.
