Yatch Master Bezel

Good evening

I recently removed the bezel off of my Yatch Master 40 126622 and I am having a hell of a time trying to place the bezel back on. Am I missing something? Did something go flying in the process or removing the bezel?

Please help!

Thank you.

I don't know what setup you have with which you are trying to reattach your bezel, but I'll try to describe how I install these at my shop.

1. Place the bezel tension ring on the case.
2. Lubricate the scallops with fomlube.
3. Install the three-pronged spring on the case to engage with the scallops, ensuring one prong is at 12:00.
4. Install the bezel, without the hytrel ring, on the pronged spring, ensuring the triangular index is at 12:00.
5. Rotate the bezel to ensure that the indexing is proper. Failure to do this may irreparably damage the underside of the bezel.
6. Rotate the bezel to realign the triangular index at 12:00.
7. Carefully remove the bezel from the spring, ensuring not to disengage the three-pronged spring from the scallops.
8a. Install a new hytrel ring inside the bezel, ensuring there is no play.
8b. If the new hytrel has play, remove it and slightly enlarge it by gently pulling it in circular motions with fingers. If this becomes overstretched, replace it; hytrels are officially one-time use.
9. Place the case dial-up centered on the casing press.
10. Place the bezel on the case with the triangular index at 12:00.
11. Ensure the appropriately sized bezel die is installed on the press, and bring it down to rest on the bezel.
12. Quickly press the bezel on. Surprise it.
13. Remove the case and verify that the bezel rotates both directions freely. If it does not, the operation must be redone. The hytrel may have become snagged.
