Home from the spa
One of my favorite super oldies is home from the spa. I don't think the crown is original, but I don't know how to find out.

I'm not sure about the way to find out if the crown is original or not but allow me to say that your watch looks great Mikki! Looks like your watchmaker did a great job on it!

As requested :-) Don't mind the mixed metals, or the lousy shot with the iPhone :-)

HEY! I just noticed something....there are no jewels in the movement! I have a junk movement with jewels that will likely fit, but ...uh....really? It is sitll keeping good time. Very very strange. Any thoughts?

The watch refurb looks great, Mikki! Its hard to say re. the crown, - the early W&D watches had several 'styles' of crown that were very similar to the one you have. If not original, it looks like a close match to me. Also, the several movements offered at that time did not necessarily have the red 'rubies' mounted as conspicuously as they are in the later ones. Many look just like yours. I'd enjoy it exactly as is! Congrats!
